Pretty self explanatory - Offline caching is turned enabled on Windows shares by default, for shares that have profiles in them this needs disabling. To then test if the profile was updating correctly on logoff I inserted some dummy profileTestX.txt files into the local user C:\Doent and Settings\testUser\Application Data and ......\testUser\My Doents\ I then logged As you finish projects in Quip, the work remains, easily accessible to all team members, new and old. - Increase transparency - Onboard new hires faster - Access from mobile/offline Try

I'm not sure if its slightly inconsistent either in the > times that it updates, or the files/folders which are being updated. By creating an account, you're agreeing to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and to receive emails from Spiceworks. Changing the Share to 'Files or Folders from this share will not be avialable offline' instantly removed the error. NOTE: Whenever possible, store roaming profiles and offline-enabled shares on different servers.

Each user has their own roaming profile and has access to modify it. I check before GP entries you mentioned which were covered in the MS doent, but Fast Network Logon isn't listed. -- Thanks, Stuart Mackie [MCP, MSP] www.stu.uk.com "Doug Sherman [MVP]" Glj429 replied Jan 8, 2017 at 5:35 AM Will 32bit files work on 64bit etaf replied Jan 8, 2017 at 4:49 AM Problems dual booting Windows... On my local drive I have My Docs which is shown to be syncing. To resolve this problem go to the w2k server on which you keep your shared roaming profile directory. It would be in \\Servername\Users\Yourname\My Documents. I also don't understand why the error is being logged. The problem I'm having at the minute is that if I delete the local profile, the workstation will download the roaming profile correctly from the server. User Information Only an Email address is required for returning users.

The fast network logon could definately be an issue later on, but at the minute I can't even get the profile to merge with the server on logoff.
