i have this problem as well in windows 7 64bit and i have tried this method: 1. Anyhow it is worth trying changing power setting options before buying a new charger or the battery. After that the computer becomes very slow and in a short time the CPU usage jumps to 100%. The time now is 06:52. If I unplug it, it returns to normal. There is an outer square of 4 pins, then an inner pair of two pins and then a central (or maybe slightly offset centrally) pin.
