After letting ifuse (built from HEAD) use libimobiledevice (built from HEAD but with OpenSSL instead of GnuTLS), it finally worked! Have you tested on latest master head clone on Linux with an older idevice IOS like 5.30 or 6.10 to see if it still works as expected.
